Dermapen4 is one of the newest and safest forms of microneedling. Using a fine pen, we deliver a concentrated vitamin cocktail into the skin. Because we needle straight down, we don't damage the skin, but instead stimulate the cells to produce new collagen and elastin.

Course of treatment

What can you expect during the treatment?
With deeper treatments, blood dots may become visible on the skin. The blood dots show that we have worked deep enough into the skin. We do not want to see blood dots with every treatment. Depending on the desired result, the skin professional determines how the treatment proceeds. The course after a treatment is as follows:
- Up to 24 hours after treatment: redness, bleeding spots and slight swelling in the skin
- 1-2 days after treatment: mild redness, disappearance of blood dots, reduced swelling, slight itching, tight-dry feeling
- 2-3 days after treatment: Reduced redness, disappearance of swelling, reduced itching and slight flaking. Skin may look tight and dry.
- 4-5 days after treatment: the skin has recovered and is functioning normally.
Advice after treatment
Up to 48 hours afterwards:
- The same day do not shower or apply any products to the treated skin (only the product recommended by the beautician).
- No intense workouts.
- No hot showers, saunas or pools.
- Avoid the sun for 14 days.
- Protect your skin with a factor 30/50
- No makeup (mineral makeup only)
